Terms of Use
These terms cover the DeepShelf website and cloud workspace. Please read them before using or purchasing the service.
Please pay particular attention to fees and refunds, AI output, tool execution, force majeure, and liability limits.

Service and accounts
DeepShelf helps you organize sources, converse with AI, and generate reports and other outputs. Use the service lawfully, provide accurate and necessary account information, and protect your account, sign-in credentials, and devices. Contact us promptly about unauthorized access or other security concerns. Minors may use the service only where permitted by law, with a guardian’s consent and guidance.
Lawful use and abuse prevention
You must have the right to upload and process your materials. Do not infringe privacy, intellectual property, or other rights. Unlawful activity, fraud, system attacks, account theft, bypassing billing or usage limits, using automated or bulk actions to exploit free allowances, and unauthorized resale are prohibited.
Where we have reasonable grounds to identify violations or security risks, we may impose necessary feature restrictions, suspend service, revoke improperly obtained benefits, or restrict abusive repeat registrations. Serious cases may result in service termination or account closure.
Fees, subscriptions, and refunds
Features, models, prices, allowances, validity periods, and billing rules follow the information shown and confirmed before purchase. Free features do not include all paid benefits. Models, source processing, and tool calls may consume different allowances, and one task may involve multiple calls. Properly provided services are not free of charge because output falls short of subjective expectations.
Automatic renewal requires your valid authorization and can be canceled through subscription management in the workspace. Cancellation stops future charges and preserves the paid period; it does not automatically issue a refund. Orders without automatic renewal are not charged again merely because they expire.
Because we offer a free allowance and a free membership trial for new users so you can try the service before paying, payments are generally non-refundable unless an unexpected system error occurs.
Verify AI output
AI output may contain errors, omissions, bias, or outdated information. We do not guarantee its accuracy, completeness, or suitability for a particular purpose. Parsing, transcription, calculations, and citations can also be wrong. Check original sources and do not rely solely on generated results for important decisions. Output does not replace professional advice; independently verify legal, medical, financial, safety, and similar matters with qualified professionals.
Tool execution and stopping tasks
AI and tool features may read sources, execute code, create or modify outputs, and call third-party services. Before submitting a task, check its purpose, your rights to use the materials, and the actions it may perform. Before using generated code or files elsewhere, review their safety and any potential costs or irreversible effects.
Stopping a task does not guarantee that completed actions can be undone, or automatically refund costs already incurred and properly charged. Check existing results before stopping or retrying.
Devices, networks, and third-party services
The cloud service requires a working connection and compatible browser, device, and operating system. We do not guarantee support for every version or configuration. Maintain device security and pay third-party charges such as network access fees. Models, parsing, and other third-party services may have their own conditions or limits, and their content or availability may change. We remain responsible for obligations imposed on us by law or our agreement.
Availability and service changes
We take reasonable steps to maintain the service, but do not guarantee uninterrupted, delay-free, or error-free operation, or permanent availability of a particular model or feature. Maintenance, upgrades, network conditions, capacity limits, third-party failures, and security responses may affect use.
Features and compatibility requirements may change. We will give advance notice of foreseeable material disruption or service termination where reasonably practicable and work to reduce its impact. If paid services cannot be provided as agreed, we will handle remaining benefits and refunds under applicable law; service changes do not waive existing obligations.
Data retention and backups
Cloud storage does not guarantee that data can never be lost. Download and back up important originals and outputs, and check the consequences before deleting projects or sources. Deleted content may not be recoverable. We are not responsible for losses caused solely by your own deletion, loss of exported files, or other actions wholly attributable to you where we are not in breach or at fault. This backup reminder does not exclude our legal data-protection or service obligations.
Force majeure and liability limits
If force majeure recognized by applicable law prevents performance, including qualifying major natural disasters, war, or compulsory government measures, the affected party may be partly or wholly relieved of liability only to the extent of the actual impact permitted by law. It must give timely notice and take reasonable steps to reduce losses. Routine maintenance or third-party failures do not automatically qualify as force majeure.
We are not liable for losses caused entirely by your devices, network, incorrect configuration, unauthorized use, or independently purchased third-party services where we are not in breach or at fault. Liability for other losses and its extent depend on applicable law, agreed obligations, fault, and causation.
These terms do not exclude or limit liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for personal injury caused to you or property damage caused by our intentional misconduct or gross negligence. Your statutory consumer rights remain unaffected.
Intellectual property and privacy
You retain your lawful rights in your input. We do not claim ownership of output merely by providing generation services, but do not guarantee originality, exclusivity, or freedom from third-party rights. DeepShelf software, branding, interfaces, and other materials are protected by law. Without permission, do not copy, modify, distribute, or use them for unauthorized resale beyond what the law permits. Third-party and open-source components follow their respective licenses. Our Privacy Policy explains how personal information and content are processed.
Updates and disputes
Service changes may require updates to these terms, with the revision date shown here. For material changes affecting your rights, we will provide notice and obtain consent where required by law. Please contact us first about disputes concerning the service, fees, or these terms. This does not restrict your right to seek other lawful remedies.
