Supported formats
Check each supported upload format and its available preview.
The following 16 file extensions are supported. Document text, text extracted from images, and audio transcripts can be searched and cited. Check PDFs against the original file and audio transcripts against the recording. Tables, webpages, and presentations can be read and analyzed by AI through code, without source-panel previews, full-text retrieval, or citation navigation. Open their original files locally to check the contents.

Legacy DOC, XLS, and PPT files cannot be uploaded directly. Convert them to DOCX, XLSX, and PPTX respectively. Convert other unlisted formats to a supported format before uploading.
