About credits

Learn where each type of credit comes from, how long it lasts, and which is used first.

Two types of credits

Your account has monthly credits and purchased credits. Usage shows monthly credits as remaining / total and your purchased credit balance; the top right shows the combined available credits. See the pricing page for current credit amounts and prices.

The Pro member below has 1,862.40 / 2,400 monthly credits left this period and 812.50 purchased credits, of which 312.50 expire first.

The Usage window: 2,674.90 available credits; Monthly credits 1,862.40 / 2,400 with Resets to 2,400 on Nov 1; Purchased credits 812.50 with 312.50 expire on Nov 20. Both credit cards are outlined in red.

Monthly credits

Free grants 100 credits a month, renewed on your account’s fixed monthly cycle. Paid plans grant their full allowance at the start of each paid period.

Monthly credits are valid only for the current period. Unused credits expire when it ends and do not carry over. Free and paid monthly credits do not stack. Running out of monthly credits does not end your plan; its benefits last until the period ends.

Purchased credits

Plus, Pro, and Max members can open Settings → Subscription & payments → Buy extra credits. Each purchase is a whole amount from 5 to 999 USD, at 100 credits per USD. Free accounts need a paid plan first.

Purchased credits are valid for 3 months from successful payment, independent of your plan period. Upgrading, canceling renewal, or returning to Free does not affect them; unused credits expire at the end of their validity.

Enter an amount or pick a preset to see the credits you will receive and how long they last.

The Buy extra credits page: $1 = 100 credits at the top right and Total 500 credits, Valid for 3 months below are outlined in red. The amount is USD 5, with $5, $10, $20, and $50 presets.

Credit purchase history in Subscription & payments lists each purchase with its amount, remaining credits, and validity.

The Subscription & payments page: the Purchased credits card shows 812.50 and Don’t reset monthly; valid for 3 months. Credit purchase history lists $5 on 10/03/2026 with 500 / 500 left and $10 on 08/20/2026 with 312.50 / 1,000 left, each with its validity. The card and the history are outlined in red.

Order of use

Each charge uses monthly credits first, then purchased credits. When you have several purchases, the one that expires first is used first.

When all credits are used up, new chats and file parsing pause. Continue after your next period renews, after upgrading, or after buying extra credits.
